Rick Ifland, MBA - Managing Partner

Mr. Ifland has more than 20 years experience growing organizations and people in a variety of leadership positions ranging from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies. Previously, Mr. Ifland was active as a Managing Partner at Atera Partners, a private equity firm. He was responsible for overseeing all investments, consulting and operations of the various domestic and international business entities under management or contract. Atera Partners invested in more than a dozen companies, ranging from start-ups to multi-million dollar ventures. The combined enterprise value of these investments significantly increased while under Atera management. Atera’s consulting division represented a select group of Fortune 500 and other large and small companies with a specialized range of business services.

Prior to Atera and Titus, Mr. Ifland was the sole owner of Ifland Credit Services (“ICS”).  He was the executive in charge of business operations for the 650 employees in 19 offices nationwide; for all financial and technical functions, including automation and artificial intelligence; and for customer relationship management for the company’s nationwide base of 5,000 clients (banks and mortgage companies).  ICS was sold to Fidelity National Financial (NYSE: FNF) in 1996.

Brent Boekestein, MSc - Partner

Mr. Boekestein is a Partner at the firm and is responsible for sourcing, performing due diligence and investigating investment opportunities in the Western United States.  Mr. Boekestein is also in charge of West Coast banking and investor relations. 

Prior to Titus, Mr. Boekestein was a partner with Vision Launchers, LLC, a strategic consulting, marketing and new venture development firm based in Sacramento, California.  During his tenure at Vision Launchers, Mr. Boekestein and his partners grew revenues by winning major accounts, including a national homebuilder, and consulted on successful venture developments in the action sports industry. 

Mr. Boekestein has also worked with TGV Partners in providing due diligence consulting on that firms acquisition of Thompson Center Arms (TCA) in 2004, which eventually sold to Smith & Wesson  Mr. Boekestein was also the second employee at Biomems, LLC, a firm focused on developing MEMS-based, implantable, wireless pressure sensors for use in detecting advanced diseases states related to glaucoma, cataracts, and hypertension.  He was in charge of all business development, fundraising, and product development.
